As Spring is starting to be felt it is time for the Donnybrook Balingup Chamber of Commerce gears up for the 27th edition of the Donnybrook-Balingup Community Directory, a cherished and valuable resource for both newcomers and long-time residents alike. This comprehensive directory provides crucial information about local services, community groups, emergency plans, and businesses within the shire.

The task of compiling the Community Directory is no small feat, involving the meticulous collection and cross-checking of information from various sources. Rachel Atkinson, the Executive Officer at the Chamber of Commerce, emphasizes the importance of residents ensuring their listings are up-to-date. For those who need to make changes, update or remove their listing, the Chamber encourages contacting them directly or drop in the form available in the latest issue of the Preston Press. Residents can conveniently drop off the completed forms at the Chamber of Commerce office, situated next to the Bendigo Bank, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays – 9 am to 12 pm, or opt for the hassle-free alternative of emailing the details to directory@dbchamber.com.au.

Since its inaugural publication in 1997, the Donnybrook-Balingup Community Directory has become an indispensable tool for locals and visitors alike. Beyond basic contact information, the directory includes invaluable insights into the Shire, emergency procedures, and the plethora of local businesses that serve the community. Its professional quality finish ensures that users can access the wealth of knowledge effortlessly.
